What’s worth listening to this week
What Made Milwaukie Famous – What Doesn’t Kill Us. I know nothing about this band except this is an excellent album. It’s great song writing (maybe Shins type pop? Can’t quite put my finger on it) It’s not commercial, has bits of Buckley, bits of Radiohead. Can’t be bad! Start on track 2, winner. Seano get amongst, riiight up your alley. Great drummer, great singer.
Death Cab For Cutie – Narrow Stairs. One of the most anticipated albums of 08…just behind Andrea Rieu and So You Think You Can Dance – The Soundtrack. But big shoes to fill after their last album “Plans”. But I think its solid
The Presets – Apocolyso. Massive Meaty Beats of Phatness. Jaws to the ground, crack on ya glow sticks munters this is good solid doof. So hard its almost rock. If you don’t got, get.
Nine Inch Nails – The Slip www.nin.com Trent “The Man” Reznor just started giving away the new NIN album the other day, for free, no catch. What a farken champ
